I buy frozen, peeled, deveined shrimp. Thaw shrimp in a colander under cool running water for a few minutes.
Honey Garlic Shrimp

½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, grated or minced
juice and zest of one lime
1 pound large shrimp
To make the sauce, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, lime zest, and lime juice. Add about half the sauce to the shrimp, save the other half for later. Marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Drain the marinade from the shrimp and add the shrimp in a single layer to a hot nonstick pan. Cook on one side for about 2 minutes to brown the shrimp. Add the reserved half of the sauce to the pan, turn the heat up to high, and boil for 3 minutes. The sauce will thicken and coat the shrimp. Serve with rice or cauliflower rice.
