My kids love these chicken tenders. They are crispy and you can dip ’em; are there more prerequisites are there for good chicken tenders?? Tonight we chose Balsamic Glaze for dipping (my little foodie children love it), but barbeque sauce or Homemade Ranch Dressing are often the choice. I’ll tell you about the Balsamic Glazed Veggie Kabobs later on this week.
Kids’ Favorite Chicken Tenders
4 skinless chicken breasts
2 cups Panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 eggs, beaten
Mix Panko with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cut chicken breasts in thirds to form chicken tenders. Lightly salt and pepper each one. Dredge each tender first in egg, and then in the Panko/spice mixture. Place tenders on a rack on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 6-7 minutes or until cooked through. Turn the oven to broil and broil until browned.
